It can be daunting thinking about coming for counselling, the thought of making that first call can make the anxiety much worse, and may result in avoidant behavior because we convince ourselves that things are not really that bad, until the next anxiety/panic attack. 

 

We can become totally overwhelmed and stressed which feels very unpleasant. 

Below is a brief outline about what happens once you make that first move. 

 

Booking In

 I will explain how the process works and if you are comfortable, an appointment can be made at a time that suits us both.

 

Face to Face

Face to face appointments are available in  Stranorlar, Co. Donegal (F93P22E) and Strabane, Co. Tyrone (BT82 8EF).

 

On receipt of payment, your appointment will be confirmed. You will be given instructions and directions to my office, hand sanitizer and masks are available.

 

Online via Skype/Zoom/Email/Telephone

Appointments are available online via Zoom, Skype, Google, and Whatsapp. We will discuss what platform suits you best. 

Sessions can also be conducted via email, text, and telephone.

Online is a suitable way to attend therapy when travel/childcare/work are problematic.
